Customer story: rent parking spaces with Tickera in Amsterdam
We are a company that rent parking spaces near the Amsterdam Boulevard.
When there is a soccer match (AJAX) in the Amsterdam Arena or a concert in the Heineken Music Hall or Ziggo Dome and people come with a car they can park it at one of our many parking lots.
At first we were only able to accept people who can pay with cash only. A few months back we also introduced debit card payments.
This still caused a lot of traffic jam so we had to figure out how we could do this in a much faster way.
We did some research and found this amazing system called Tickera.
People are now able to buy tickets online and the only thing we have to do is to scan the tickets with our smartphones.
Because the scanning of a ticket is done within a second it does not cause traffic jams anymore.
We only discovered one issue, when we have several events at the same time we had to log-out and log-in again in order to use another API creadentials and scan a ticket.
This would cause traffic jams again so we contacted Tickera.
Tickera recognized the problem and immediately put their developers on work.
Within a week a new version of Tickera came out where the problem is solved. We are still amazed how fast Tickera solved our problem and we are glad to say that Tickera has contributed to the traffic flow in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
